<b>Sri Aman</b> - <b>Sri Aman</b>, Malaysia Travel Blog Posted: 05 Nov 2010 12:00 AM PDT   Sri Aman, Sarawak, Malaysia Friday, November 5, 2010 Sri Aman is a quirkly little town on the side of a big river! It is famous for its Tidal Bore!  There is a big restriction where the sea meets the river whichs stalls the normal tidal flow.  Once the tide finally turns, a massive wave flows over the restriction and then right the way up the river for kilometres!!  So you go from Low tide to High tide in about a couple of minutes!!  Its extremely dangerous because you can be out fishing and a massive (tidal) wave comes along out of the blue!  We wondered why surfers werent on it..  Big Crocs is the answer!
