Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) is the offshore campus of Curtin University, Western Australia. Curtin Sarawak offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses identical to those offered at Curtin's main Bentley Campus, as well as courses at pre-university level that feed directly into its undergraduate programmes. WEB DESIGNER
Jawatan kosong di Miri (Sarawak)

Responsibilities:
Support the Corporate Communications Manager in website development, design and enhancement, and online communication and promotion.
Assist in optimising the profile and effectiveness of the University website on the World Wide Web.
Research and develop relevant online channels for news dissemination and promotion.
Provides web design and management services to the University community.

Requirements:
A relevant degree in Computer Studies or related area from a recognized institution.
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in web design or web development.
Good understanding of software and hardware functionality, browser/server compatibility.
Mastery of HTML and FTP.
Working knowledge of computer graphics packages such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio and Paint Shop Pro.
Working knowledge of graphic design and photography concepts and awareness of current trends in the visual arts.
Creative flair and ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Strong visual communications skills and good command of spoken and written English
Ability to work well under pressure of tight deadlines and changing demands
Working knowledge of Flash, Javascript, XML-based web applications and programming, XHTML programming and other web development languages and technologies.
